In our veterinary practice in Wirges, we treat a wide variety of animals on a daily basis, requiring a large number of instruments that need to be processed quickly. With the MELAG system solution, we have all the devices we need for instrument processing, all from one source.
After treating the animals, the used instruments are transported to our processing room in a disinfection tray, where they are sorted into the MELAtherm 10 for cleaning and disinfection. The active drying feature of the MELAtherm 10 protects the instruments from recontamination, corrosion, and damage.
After cleaning and disinfection, the instruments undergo visual inspection, are packaged with the MELAseal 100+, and prepared for sterilization in the Vacuklav 44 B. The steam sterilizer ensures that all microorganisms are killed during the process, allowing the instruments to be reused for treatment. In the final step, the processing process is documented and approved.
